Congratulations to Committee members and all the residents of Branch for such a terrific website and for organizing such an event. Anita O'Keefe shared your website with me, for which I extend my appreciation. My grandfather, Joe Solo (originally from the Golan Heights, Syria) and my grandmother, Agnes (nee Foley, originally from Little Baraschois) used to live in Branch about 1920. Although we were unable to schedule our visit to Branch during come home, my Dad ( Joseph Roche), sister and myself are STILL enjoying the wonderful memories of our recent stay at the Cliffhouse: Priscilla, Chris and Rita: you are the best! We found that the Cliffhouse WAS indeed the place we dreamed of , as was Branch and all the wonderful family and people living there; what an experience!! All the photos on the site are great- wishing all a keen time at come home!! |

I was just reading through the guest book and noticed the names of sooo many people I haven't seen in ages upon ages!!! Seeing all the people who are coming home makes Come Home Year all that much more exciting. That, coupled with the fact that John Paul and Vanessa are getting married, guarantees August to be one crazy, wild, fun, entertaining, happy, eventful month. We're also having our family reunion during the festivities, so that's just one more thing to look forward too - seeing family members I haven't seen in forever!! I'm so excited you wouldn't believe!! Plus Bradley will be home from the Gulf of Mexico and gets to take it all in with me - bonus!!! We can't wait to see everyone!!! |
