After 35 yrs. as a pastor the flashbacks, etc. revisited me to go along with the nightmares I have always had. It seems aging allows some symtoms to return. I had to retire at 62 because I could no longer do my job as well as I liked. I am now a 100% service-connected vet for PTSD, and then other things that made my percentage 160%. There is a name of a fellow Corpsman who sent on a mission for me one time when I had the usual fever some of us got there. He never returned and had a 5 month old boy he had never seen. I had no children then. I often ask why him, but only God knows that answer. Thank you for a good site. |

My name is Shirley Morris, from Ft. Dodge Iowa. I have for 40 years tried to find the family of Lt, James Herrick of Panora Iowa. When I was a teenager My brother was in vietnam for 2 years {he came home] I got involved in everything I could to sapport the troops One thing I did was get a POW/MIA bracelet. The bracelet I have is that of Lt. James Herrick Jr. Of Panora Iowa. I always wondered if he ever came home. But I found that not to be the case. My Heart felt condolunces go out to his whole family. I myself feel bad that he did not come home. All I want to do is get his bracelet to his family somehow.
