I just recently found out that my dad was born in Wallins creek. Dads name is Hugh Ferguson Jr ,he past away on July 27th he was born on July 26th 1926.I'm sure we have people around the area just dont know any of them feel free to email me if you knew him or know anybody that did thank you. |

hi you all school will soon be ready to start want to all the 1th grader that going to be the first year my first year i cry for 3 weeks it ok if you cry the first few week they had to made me go i would go without so they could send me home do they still do all the carival time around haloweed time good luck. an to arlene that wrote about the honeycutt i live just a couple doods dow them use to love to go visit with them polly mae an mike an donnie still live there would love to here from them also rebeccuss use to love to tell us storys about them to keep you safe from harm thank you for email . |

It's been a long time since I have signed the guestbook, but wanted to say hello to everyone. I also wanted to remind everyone that the Wallins Baptist Church Homecoming is August 8, 2010. Sunday School is at 10 and Morning worship is at 11. An AWESOME dinner will follow the morning worship service. We would love to have everyone come be with us! |

I would like to ask everyone to keep my brother Wil Brock,Heather and Kelvin and the rest of our family in your prayers, as we lost Wil's wife Reba Sue. She was laid to rest this past Wednesday at the Park Howard Cemetery. She is sadly missed by us all. |

I am trying to find a way to contact anyone about the First Baptist Church in Wallins. My father, Jesse Brown, was the pastor there in the late 1930's and early 40's. I am going to be coming through the area in September, and would like to attend services there as a memory to my father. I can't find a phone number for the church. Can anyone help me?

I have what my mother has and some she has found of the Osborne family but I need images of the town, old coal mines, etc. If you have any I would love to have digital acces to them as soon as possible.
